Bill Callahan will rejoin Kevin Stefanski and work as the offensive line coach for the Atlanta Falcons, the team announced Tuesday.

Bill Callahan will once again work with Kevin Stefanski. The Falcons announced on Tuesday that Callahan is joining Stefanski's staff as offensive line coach. The move was expected after Stefanski agreed to become the club's head coach over the weekend.

We have named Bill Callahan our offensive line coach! pic.twitter.com/08CfCHhWtW Callahan, who will turn 70 in late July, has been coaching offensive lines in the NFL since 1995, with a four year break as the head coach of Nebraska in there in the early 2000s and with a stint as the Raiders offensive coordinator and head coach and interim head coach for the Commanders.

After the announcement that Kevin Stefanski would take over as head coach, the Atlanta Falcons are piecing together their coaching staff for the new regime.

The Falcons can now get a head start on filling out Stefanski's coaching staff while the other teams continue to go through the interview process. Stefanski has already made one major hire, and the team has been linked to a few other assistant coaches.

The Atlanta Falcons have found their next head coach, naming two-time Associated Press NFL Coach of the Year Kevin Stefanski to lead the franchise into its next chapter.

Stefanski will be the 20th head coach in franchise history. The Falcons hope it's a while before they have to hire a 21st.
